Top Performing Agents of Suryajyoti Life: How Kamal, Gaurav, and Deepak Became Leading Agents
Kathmandu – Suryajyoti Life Insurance Company Limited has announced its top-performing agents for the fiscal year 2081/82, recognizing the dedication and business success of three standout individuals: Kamal Prasad Ghimire from Butwal, Gaurav Kumar Shahi from Nepalgunj, and Deepak Sapkota from Banepa.
These agents have outpaced thousands of peers across the country, contributing significantly to the company’s robust performance by extending life insurance services to communities across Nepal.
Kamal Prasad Ghimire: Leading from the Front
Once again, Kamal Prasad Ghimire of the Butwal Palpa Road branch has emerged as the top agent nationwide. He is known for his consistent excellence and has maintained his position as Nepal’s top agent for Suryajyoti Life since 2074 BS. This year, he secured his title by completing insurance business worth Rs 38.6 million through his code, selling 72 insurance policies.
Speaking about his success, Ghimire emphasized the importance of integrity and trust in client relationships. He believes insurance is a necessity for all and urged fellow agents to provide coverage based on individuals’ needs, without bias.
Gaurav Kumar Shahi: Reaching Remote Corners
Claiming the second position is Gaurav Kumar Shahi, who operates from the Nepalgunj branch. Shahi’s reach extends to some of Nepal’s most remote areas, including Humla, Jumla, and parts of Karnali Province. His commitment to insuring citizens in these challenging locations helped him generate Rs 29.9 million in insurance business last fiscal year, with 117 policies sold.
Shahi has been recognized within the company as a diligent and impactful agent, actively strengthening Suryajyoti Life’s footprint in underserved regions.
Deepak Sapkota: Steadily Climbing the Ranks
In third place is Deepak Sapkota, affiliated with the Banepa branch. Sapkota conducted insurance business worth Rs 21.3 million by selling 78 insurance policies. A multiple-time achiever of the MDRT-COT target, Sapkota also won a scooter under the company’s special scheme in the month of Ashar, reflecting his outstanding dedication and performance.
