MetLife Nepal Partners with National Cricket Captains to Promote Life Insurance Awareness

Kathmandu – In a landmark initiative, MetLife Nepal has announced its partnership with national cricket team captains Rohit Paudel and Indu Berma to advocate for life insurance as a vital tool for financial protection and future planning.
This collaboration marks the first time in Nepal that the captains of both the men’s and women’s national cricket teams—widely recognized as icons of national pride—have come together for a social awareness campaign. MetLife aims to align the values of sportsmanship such as resilience, preparation, and responsibility with the core principles of life insurance through this initiative.
As part of the campaign, MetLife has also extended insurance coverage sponsorship to both national teams, underscoring its ongoing commitment to supporting individuals who inspire the nation.
“Our national team captains carry the hopes of our nation every time they walk onto the field, and who better to illustrate the significance of responsibility and protection?” said Ankeet Rajbhandari, Head of Marketing & Communications at MetLife Nepal. “We are excited to have Rohit and Indu convey the message of safeguarding what is most valuable—your family and future.”
MetLife, which has been operating in Nepal since 2001, offers a range of insurance products including life, accident, and health coverage, along with employee benefits.
