SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Concludes Grand Sales Convention 2082 with ‘We Can’ Theme

Kathmandu – SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited has grandly concluded its Sales Convention 2082, uniting nearly 200 employees from across Nepal under the empowering theme, “We Can.” Held on 11 Shrawan 2082 (27 July, 2025), the event brought together provincial heads, regional managers, branch heads, sales executives, operations staff, department leaders, top management, and board members to celebrate the company’s achievements and chart the course ahead.
The convention was graced by Chairman Keshav Prasad Bhattarai, directors Hemanta Nahata and Chudamani Devkota, Chief Executive Officer Prakash Bikram Khatri, and Chief Business Officer Farshuram Marasini. The program centered on fostering collaboration, enhancing commitment to company values, and recognizing the dedication of employees who contributed significantly to the organization’s historic success over the past fiscal year.
A key highlight of the convention was the special training session led by renowned Indian sales trainer Anil Kumar Jha. With over three decades of experience in the life insurance sector, Jha provided deep insights into personality development, agent growth, and investment sales techniques, equipping participants with practical tools to enhance their performance.
CEO Prakash Bikram Khatri expressed heartfelt gratitude to the employees, emphasizing the core principle that the interests of the insured must always align with the company’s mission. He underscored the importance of a value-based work culture and encouraged staff to continue striving toward excellence. Chief Business Officer Farshuram Marasini presented a detailed annual business review and outlined the strategic roadmap for the upcoming fiscal year, inspiring employees to move forward with clarity and ambition.
During the convention, 129 high-performing employees were recognized and honored across various categories based on their achievements in first premium collections, number of policies sold, agent activation, and consistency in business. Among the top awardees were Mohan Puri as the Best Employee of the Year from Province 7, Ram Prasad Upadhyay as Best Regional Manager, Rabindra Prasad Sharma as Best Branch Manager from Dailekh, Sanjay Sundas as Best in Branch Operations from New Baneshwor, and Santosh Gyawali as Best Sales Executive from the Butwal Palpa Road branch. Their recognition served as a motivating force for the entire workforce.
CEO Khatri also pledged to organize more training and skill-enhancement programs to further empower employees and maintain the company’s competitive edge.
