Nepal Insurance Authority Summons Life Insurance CEOs for Strategic Discussion

Kathmandu — The Nepal Insurance Authority has summoned the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of all life insurance companies operating in the country for a high-level meeting aimed at reviewing the current status of the life insurance sector.
The meeting, held at the Authority’s headquarters in Kathmandu, was convened under the directive of Sebantak Pokharel, who has been deputed by the Ministry of Finance to oversee the Authority’s operations until a new chairman is officially appointed.
According to officials, the agenda of the meeting includes a comprehensive review of the life insurance business landscape, the challenges facing the sector, and strategic regulatory matters. The Authority is expected to issue guidance and policy directions aimed at strengthening the operational and financial health of life insurance companies.
