Mero Microfinance Calls for Sealed Bids for Employee and Member Insurance Services

Kathmandu — Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has issued a public notice inviting sealed bids for insurance services, targeting both its employees and members.
According to the announcement, the company is seeking proposals for group term life insurance and non-life insurance for its staff. The term life insurance package includes coverage of up to NPR 1 million for natural death, along with an additional benefit of 10 percent of the insured amount for work-related costs. The package also includes critical illness insurance of up to NPR 1 million, covering 15 major life-threatening diseases.
Furthermore, the microfinance institution stated that insurance coverage is also required for term life insurance of its members who have taken loans. Interested insurance service providers have been requested to submit their sealed proposals within 15 days of the notice publication.
