IME Life’s Black Diamond Group Concludes Capacity-Building and Recognition Program in Koshi Province
Kathmandu — The Black Diamond Group under IME Life Insurance has successfully concluded a two-day capacity-building training program for agency managers and team leaders of Koshi Province, alongside a special recognition ceremony honoring Agency Managers and MDRT 2026 qualifiers. The event was held at Sherpa Hotel in Kanyam with notable participation from over 85 attendees.
The program’s chief guest, IME Life Insurance CEO Pawan Kumar Khadka, presented the company’s progress report and outlined its future strategies. He also provided guidance and motivation to participants for the days ahead.
Special guests included Sunil Kumar Acharya from the Training Department and Koshi Province Chief Milan Dahal, who delivered motivational addresses and gave in-depth presentations on topics such as “Agency and Insurance Relationship,” “The Importance of Life Insurance Today,” and “The Bright Future of Insurance Agents.”
The event was chaired by Nagendra Kumar Shrestha, MDRT, Black Diamond Group Chairman, and Chief Agency Manager of IME Life, and conducted by Senior Agency Manager Ram Prasad Rai. The welcome address was delivered by Agency Manager Hemlal Acharya, while MDRT and Senior Agency Manager Kamal Bahadur Gurung spoke on the relevance of the program.
IME Life’s first double MDRT achiever, Mina Gurung, along with chief agency managers, senior agency managers, branch heads, and other top performers, were among the participants. The program also served as a platform for reviewing lessons learned during the training, reinforcing enthusiasm, confidence, and commitment among attendees.
Chairman Shrestha concluded the event by underscoring the importance of insurance and the crucial role agents play in the industry’s growth.
