Liberty Micro Life Insurance Reports Sharp Growth in Fiscal Year 2081/82

Kathmandu – Liberty Micro Life Insurance Limited has recorded a remarkable increase in net profit in the last fiscal year, showcasing significant growth across its business operations.

According to the financial statements released by the company today, Liberty Micro Life Insurance earned a net profit of Rs 11.4 million as of the end of the fiscal year 2081/82, up from Rs 7.6 million in the preceding fiscal year—an increase of 51.18 percent.

The company’s business has also seen a significant surge. Net insurance premiums grew up to Rs 28.4 million, marking an increase of 853.02 percent. Similarly, the size of the life insurance fund expanded dramatically by reaching Rs 192.66 million, a growth of 1,102.67 percent.

Total income for the company increased from Rs 76.3 million to Rs 328.02 million, while total expenditure rose from Rs 70.7 million to Rs 316.5 million. The company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs 525 million, supported by a catastrophe fund of Rs 1.9 million and a reserve fund of Rs 15.9 million. Earnings per share (EPS) for the fiscal year were reported at Rs 2.19.
