IGI Prudential Reports Strong Financial Performance in FY 2081/82, Net Insurance Premium Increase by 12.26%

Kathmandu – IGI Prudential Insurance Company Limited has released its financial statement for the fourth and final quarter of the last fiscal year, highlighting notable growth across key financial indicators.

The company reported a net insurance premium of Rs 1.36 billion, marking a 12.26% increase compared to the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, the insurance fund decreased slightly to Rs 424.9 million.

IGI Prudential paid Rs 246.32 million in insurance claims during the period, representing a 39.01% increase over the previous fiscal year. Additionally, the company earned Rs 254.9 million from investments, loans, and other income sources.

Despite these gains, the company’s total income slightly declined by 6.79%, amounting to Rs 2.17 billion, while total expenses were reported at Rs 1.64 billion.

The company’s net profit for the fiscal year stood at Rs 364.9 million, with earnings per share of Rs 12.2.
