Sun Nepal Life Conducts AML/CFT Training to Strengthen Employee Capacity

Kathmandu – Sun Nepal Life Insurance Limited has organized a training program on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) to enhance employee capacity and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The training was facilitated by Subash Bhandari, Head of the Company’s Legal Department, who highlighted the growing global challenges of money laundering and terrorist financing and their potential impact on the insurance sector. He stressed the importance of awareness and preparedness to effectively address such risks.

During the session, Bhandari provided detailed insights into international standards, government directives, and guidelines issued by the Insurance Authority, along with practical procedures to be applied in daily operations.

Branch heads from Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, along with the company’s head office officials, including Market Officer Ganesh Chaulagain, actively participated in the program.

Currently, Sun Nepal Life has been providing life insurance services through its 143 branch offices nationwide.
