Santosh Prasai Receives Visionary Leader in Life Insurance Award

Kathmandu -. Santosh Prasai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited, has been honored with the Visionary Leader in Life Insurance Award at the 6th Asian Professional Achievement Awards.

The recognition highlights Prasai’s significant contribution to Nepal’s insurance sector, from his tenure at the then Insurance Committee—the regulatory authority of the industry—to his leadership at Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance.

Under his stewardship, the company achieved notable business growth in the fiscal year 2081/82, strengthening its position in Nepal’s life insurance market.

The award was presented during a ceremony on Monday, where former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ served as chief guest and handed over the honor.

The Asian Professional Achievement Awards recognize individuals from across Asia who have demonstrated excellence and established a distinct identity in their respective fields. Alongside Prasai, professionals from various countries were celebrated for their achievements.
