Oriental Insurance Assures Quick Settlement of Claims Amid Recent Disasters

Kathmandu – The Oriental Insurance Company has announced that it is fully prepared to settle insurance claims, including large-scale losses, in a simple and efficient manner as the country grapples with widespread disaster-related damages.

In a statement, the company expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and destruction of property caused by the recent adverse situation across Nepal. It extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The insurer, which has been serving Nepali customers for the past 67 years, highlighted its long-standing commitment to disaster-related compensation. “We have consistently provided claim settlements for major losses arising from earthquakes, floods, landslides, and other natural calamities in a timely and straightforward manner,” the statement read.

Reaffirming its readiness, Oriental Insurance assured policyholders that it remains fully capable of covering property damages sustained during the current crisis. The company also urged customers not to be misled by certain online media reports casting doubts on insurance claim settlements.
