Nepal Insurance Authority Gandaki Province to Conduct Agent Examinations

Kathmandu — The Gandaki Province Office of the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has announced that the insurance agent examinations will be held on Kartik 17 and 18 (November 3 – 4).

According to the authority, the examination scheduled for Kartik 17 will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., while the exam on Kartik 18 will be conducted from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The examinations are being held in accordance with the Insurance Act 2079, which mandates that individuals must pass the agent examination before obtaining an insurance license. The NIA has clarified that candidates from all over Nepal are eligible to participate in the life insurance agent examination.

Furthermore, the authority has instructed all examinees to ensure their cameras are positioned to provide clear visibility throughout the examination period, maintaining transparency and fairness in the process.
