NLG Insurance Contributes Rs. 2.5 Million to Government’s Reconstruction Fund
Kathmandu – NLG Insurance Company Limited has contributed Rs. 2.5 million to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund established by the Government of Nepal to support recovery efforts following the damage caused by the recent Gen-Z movement.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Sunil Ballabh Pant, handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal during a formal ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar on Tuesday.
Speaking at the event, CEO Pant said that the company’s contribution aims to play a meaningful role in rebuilding and restoring infrastructure damaged during the movement.
According to Tanka Prasad Pandey, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, the government’s reconstruction fund has so far accumulated Rs. 751 million including the recent contribution from NLG Insurance.
Pandey expressed appreciation to NLG Insurance and other contributors for their support in helping the government’s ongoing reconstruction initiatives.
