Non-Life Insurance Companies Earn Over Rs 12.65 Billion in Premiums in First Quarter
Kathmandu – Non-life insurance companies in Nepal have collectively earned an insurance premium totaling Rs 12.65 billion in the first three months of the current fiscal year.
According to the financial statements published by the Nepal Insurance Authority on Tuesday, 14 non-life insurance companies currently in operation recorded the mentioned earnings during the review period.
Among them, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance led the market, collecting the highest premium of Rs 1.49 billion. It was followed by Shikhar Insurance, which earned Rs 1.38 billion , and Siddhartha Premier Insurance, with a total premium of Rs 1.22 billion. Likewise, Himalayan Everest Insurance earned Rs 1.19 billion in the same period.
