Futsal Tournament Organized by Nepal Insurance Company Concludes in Samakhushi

Kathmandu — The futsal competition organized by Nepal Insurance Company Limited on Mangsir 19 and 20 in Samakhushi has concluded successfully, with participation from 28 teams representing 25 organizations across Nepal’s insurance sector.

Teams from the Nepal Insurance Authority, life and non-life insurers, micro-insurance companies, reinsurance companies, and surveyor organizations competed in the two-day event.

Neco Insurance Limited secured first place in the tournament, while Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited and Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited clinched second and third positions respectively. Winners were honored with certificates, medals, and shields presented by the company’s Board of Directors Chairman Chandra Singh Saud and Chief Executive Officer Bir Krishna Maharjan.

Individual awards were also announced during the closing ceremony. Roman Singh of Nepal Micro Insurance was recognized as the Best Goalkeeper, Sunil Thapa of Himalayan Everest was selected as the Best Defender, and Dinesh Kumar Singh of Himalayan Everest bagged the Best Scorer title. Yukesh Tamang of Neco Insurance was declared the Best Player of the Tournament.

The company chairman also presented tokens of appreciation to the referees for maintaining discipline and fairness throughout the games. A special acknowledgement was extended to Raju Maharjan of Samakhushi Futsal for providing the venue for the event.
