IME Life Insurance Calls Ninth AGM, Proposes 10.53% Cash Dividend
Kathmandu – IME Life Insurance Company Limited has announced its ninth annual general meeting (AGM) to be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, Poush 24 (January 8, 2026), at Diyo Mahal, Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. The decision was made recently at the company’s board of directors’ meeting.
The AGM will endorse a proposal to distribute a 10.52632 percent cash dividend (including tax) from the company’s current paid-up capital, as recommended by the Board of Directors. The dividend will be distributed from the distributable profit of the last fiscal year.
The meeting will also discuss and approve the annual report, auditor’s report, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement of the previous fiscal year. In addition, shareholders will appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year and determine the auditor’s remuneration.
Furthermore, the AGM will authorize the Board of Directors to approve expenses under corporate social responsibility and to make necessary amendments to the memorandum of association and articles of association, should any directives or suggestions be received from the regulatory authority.
For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the company has decided its book closure for one day on Poush 11. Accordingly, only shareholders who have purchased IME Life Insurance shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) by Poush 9 will be eligible to attend the meeting and receive the proposed dividend.
