Santosh Prasai, CEO of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life, Honored with ‘Insurance Category Award’

Kathmandu – Santosh Prasai, Chief Executive Officer of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited, has been honored with the Insurance Category Award under the Koshi Excellence Award 2026. This recognition was given in appreciation of his contributions to the insurance sector, from his time at the regulatory body (then the Insurance Board, now the Nepal Insurance Authority) to his leadership at Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance.

Under the leadership of CEO Prasai, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has established a strong presence in the Nepali insurance market.

The award was presented on Saturday during a special event by the Chief Guest, Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Karki, as part of the Second Koshi Excellence Award 2026.

The Koshi Excellence Awards are given in various categories to individuals born in Koshi Province who have brought pride to the region by excelling in different professions and businesses, both nationally and internationally.
