Rajendra Bahadur Chand Unanimously Elected President of National Life Central Insurer Committee
Kathmandu – Rajendra Bahadur Chand has been unanimously elected as President of the National Life Insurer Committee under the Professional Insurance Agents Association Nepal.
He was elected during the association’s second national convention, held in Butwal on Friday, where representatives of National Life insurers and professional agents gathered.
Shankar Lamichhane was elected as Senior Vice President. The Vice Presidents include Yam Kumar Rai, Rajesh Yadav, Lila Kumari Adhikari, Bhuwani Prasad Adhikari, Chudamani Subedi, Pushpa Khadka, and Manju Bhatt.
Similarly, Yatiraj Adhikari was elected Secretary, while Manoj Kumar Adhikari, Radhika Kumari Basnet, and Nirajan Rai were selected as Joint Secretaries.
Shyam Kumar Shrestha has been appointed Treasurer, with Basanta Thapa as Deputy Treasurer. The newly elected central members include Bhola Shah, Nepalman Shrestha, Chanda Kumari Ravidas, Babita Kumari Singdan, Rekha Devi Thakur, Nagendra Kumar Das, Gopal Adhikari, Tekraj Magar, Hiralal Shrestha, Santosh Gurung, Pradeep Dahagale, Sharmila Aryal Pandey, Nabin Kafle, Purna Bahadur Mahtara, Ratan Singh Chat, Santaraj Thakulla, and Bhakta Bahadur Budha; all selected unanimously.
The convention was chaired by Govinda Prasad Adhikari, President of the National Life Insurer Committee under the association. Chief Guest at the event was Suresh Prasad Khatri, CEO of National Life Insurance. Special guests included Kedar Nath Adhikari, President of the Professional Insurance Agents Association Nepal; Jamuna Aryal Acharya from the Nepal Insurance Authority, Lumbini Province; Vivek Sharma, Marketing Head of National Life Insurance; Dipnarayan Khanal, Lumbini Province Head of National Life Insurance; and central vice presidents Deepak Aryal and Bimal Neupane, among others.
