5 Percent Bonus Shares of Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Credited to Demat Accounts
Kathmandu — Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has informed that 5 percent bonus shares have been credited to the beneficiary (demat) accounts of its shareholders.
The 5 percent bonus shares, approved by the company’s 12th Annual General Meeting held on January 14, 2026, have been listed and registered with the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited and CDS and Clearing Limited, and are now eligible for dematerialized trading.
The company stated that shareholders who had completed dematerialization of their shares up to January 2, 2026, have already had their bonus shares credited to their respective beneficiary accounts. For shareholders who dematerialized their shares after that date, the bonus shares will be credited to their accounts gradually.
The company further mentioned that shareholders who have not yet dematerialized their shares will receive the bonus shares in their beneficiary accounts after completing the dematerialization process.
Likewise, for shareholders who had pledged their shares as collateral for loans up to January 2, 2026, the bonus shares have also been credited to their beneficiary accounts but marked as locked (lien) in favor of the respective banks and financial institutions.
The company has informed that such shareholders must contact their respective banks or financial institutions to release the shares after settling their loans. However, for shares pledged after that date, the bonus shares will be credited to beneficiary accounts without being marked under lien.
