Himalayan Life Insurance Concludes Employee Leadership Development Training

Kathmandu – The Employee Leadership Development and Promotion Training Program, organized by the Himalayan Life Insurance Employees Association, was successfully concluded in Kathmandu, with active participation from 160 employees representing the company’s head office and provincial branches. The program aimed to enhance leadership skills, decision-making ability, and legal awareness among employees working across the organization.
The training was officially inaugurated by Chief Executive Officer Manoj Lal Karna. Former Chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority, Fatta Bahadur KC, addressed the gathering with an insightful session on the evolving opportunities and challenges in Nepal’s insurance sector. He also shed light on future directions for growth and the importance of adaptive leadership in the changing regulatory landscape.
Senior Advocate Dr. Resham Raj Regmi conducted a legal review session focusing on employee rights within trade unions and the complexities surrounding Nepal’s Labor Act. He highlighted key implementation hurdles in labor legislation and urged better alignment of workplace practices with legal frameworks.
Dr. Rabin Katuwal delivered an interactive motivational training session designed to uplift morale, strengthen professional integrity, and sharpen decision-making skills. He covered a range of topics from capacity enhancement to cultivating honesty and accountability in the workplace.
The program was attended by senior personalities, including CEO Manoj Lal Karna, Deputy CEO Kapil Kumar Dahal, President of the Employees’ Association Hari Bahadur Khadka, and other members of the company’s high-level and provincial management teams.
Participants shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, noting that the training had clarified numerous professional uncertainties and equipped them with practical tools to handle workplace challenges more effectively.
