Non-Life Insurance Companies Collect Rs 43.96 Billion Premium in the Month of Shrawan

Kathmandu – Non-life insurance companies in Nepal have recorded significant earnings in the month of Shrawan (mid-July to mid-August), with 18 companies collecting a combined insurance premium of Rs 43.96 billion.
According to data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, 14 large non-life insurance companies earned a total premium of Rs 4.31 billion, while the remaining four Micro non-life insurance companies collected a total of Rs 78.20 million during the same period.
Among the companies, Salico led the market by collecting Rs 455.4 million in premiums, followed closely by Siddhartha Premier at Rs 417.9 million and Shikhar Insurance at Rs 415.5 million. The Oriental Insurance secured the fourth position with Rs 413.7 million, while Himalayan Everest collected Rs 365.2 million.
Similarly, NLG Insurance earned Rs 344.1 million, IGI Prudential collected Rs 338.1 million, and Neco Insurance managed Rs 321.1 million in premiums.
