Micro Non-Life Insurers Collect Rs 78.2 Million Premium in the month of Shrawan

Kathmandu – Micro non-life insurance companies in Nepal earned a total insurance premium of Rs 78.2 million in Shrawan, the first month of the current fiscal year 2082/83.
According to financial statements released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the four micro non-life insurers operating in the country sold 28,456 insurance policies during the review period.
Among them, Protective Micro Insurance led the market, collecting Rs 20.8 million in premiums through the sale of 7,992 policies. Nepal Micro Insurance followed closely with Rs 20.1 million, while Trust Micro Insurance earned Rs 19.8 million and Star Micro Insurance collected Rs 17.4 million.
