Suryajyoti Life Contributes Rs 15 Million to Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund

Kathmandu – Suryajyoti Life Insurance Company has donated Rs 15 million to the Government of Nepal’s ‘Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund’ to aid the reconstruction of public and government infrastructure damaged during the Gen Z protest on Bhadra 23 and 24.

The nationwide unrest caused significant damage to public and government structures, including those in the capital. In response, the government established the fund to support reconstruction, economic revival, and disaster relief efforts.

A check worth Rs 15 million was handed over to Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal by Suryajyoti Life’s Director Chudamani Devkota and Chief Executive Officer Prakash Bikram Khatri.

Suryajyoti Life has a history of supporting national and community welfare initiatives under its corporate social responsibility, particularly in education and health sectors. CEO Khatri emphasized the company’s continued commitment to assist the nation during times of disaster and called for collective efforts to support reconstruction and relief work.
