Nepal Insurers Association Urges Quick Claim Settlements for Rain-Induced Damages

Kathmandu – The Nepal Insurers Association has called on insurance companies to expedite claim payments for damages caused by the recent incessant rainfall across various parts of the country.

In a public appeal, the association urged all insured individuals and customers to immediately contact their respective insurance companies to report losses resulting from floods and landslides triggered by continuous heavy rains.

Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extensive damage to both personal and public property, the association extended condolences to the affected families and communities. It emphasized the importance of swift coordination to ensure timely financial relief for those impacted.

The association also advised individuals or organizations requiring additional information or assistance regarding insurance claims to contact Ms. Kalpana Niraula, an official at the association’s secretariat.
