National Life Contributes Rs 10 Million to Government’s Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund

Kathmandu – Additional financial support has been raised from the insurance sector for the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund established by the Government of Nepal.

National Life Insurance Company Limited on Tuesday handed over a cheque of Rs 10 million to the Ministry of Finance as part of its contribution to the fund.

The cheque was presented by Suresh Prasad Khatri, Chief Executive Officer of National Life, to Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal at a formal event held at the ministry.

According to the Ministry of Finance, with this contribution, the total amount collected in the fund has reached Rs 75.1 million so far.

The government created the fund to accelerate the reconstruction of physical infrastructure across the country. Authorities believe that continued support from the insurance sector and other private institutions will play a significant role in advancing national reconstruction efforts.
