Nepal Life Honors 637 Top Agents at Silver Jubilee Leadership Award

August 31st, 2026

Kathmandu — Nepal Life Insurance Company has wrapped up its ‘Leadership Excellence Award 2026,’ celebrating 25 years in business by honoring 637 top-performing agents and agency managers from across the country. The event, themed ‘Everest Year, Clouds and Beyond,’ ran at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Durbar Marg starting Bhadra 3, drawing agents who drove the company’s business through fiscal year 2025/26.

Company Directors Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Bimal Prasad Dhakal and Prabin Prakash Chhetri lit the traditional lamp alongside CEO Praveen Raman Parajuli to open the event.

Agrawal credited the company’s agents, managers, employees and customers for a landmark year, in which Nepal Life collected more than NPR 13 billion in first-year premiums, calling it proof of the trust built over 25 years in the life insurance business. He also laid out the company’s roadmap for the year ahead under the ‘Everest Year’ campaign.

Dhakal pushed agents and managers to tighten professional discipline and governance as they grow their business, calling for strict compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing rules. Trust, transparency and ethics, he said, remain the bedrock of the company’s long-term success.

Parajuli called 2025/26 a historic year for Nepal Life and pledged to speed up the company’s digital transformation, pointing to plans for customer-friendly digital services, data-driven decision-making and automated business processes. He also committed to building a more skilled workforce and driving innovation to position Nepal Life as a stronger, more modern, customer-focused institution.

The company handed out medals, certificates and cash prizes to agents and managers who posted standout results in fiscal year 2025/26, with additional recognition and cash awards going to the nation’s top overall performers. Leadership sessions, business reviews, motivational talks, strategic presentations and cultural performances rounded out the program, sending participants home with fresh momentum for the year’s targets.

The award ceremony capped a milestone year for Nepal Life. The company’s life insurance fund now stands at NPR 285 billion, its death claim settlement rate has climbed to 99.13 percent, and it has issued more than 5.579 million policies since its founding. Total premium collection has reached NPR 362 billion, while the company has paid NPR 17.71 billion in taxes to the government, underscoring its financial weight and its contribution to state revenue.

With its ‘Everest Year, Clouds and Beyond’ campaign, Nepal Life is framing its 25-year track record not as a finish line but a launchpad, betting on customer trust, technology, service quality and stronger governance to power its next phase of growth.
