35 Lakhs Equal Relief Materials Distribution Earthquake Victims by Himalayan Reinsurance

Kathmandu : Himalayan Reinsurance Company has distributed relief to Jajarkot and Rukum earthquake victims.

The earthquake which occurred at 11:47 pm on October 17th, with Ramidanda of Jajarkot as the focal point has caused great damage. To help in crisis, the company has donated amount equal 35 lakhs. It said that 1,878 Tents worth 35 lakhs and 2,000 blankets have been provided with essential relief materials.

And, 1,878 Tents and blankets have reached the district administration office of Rukum West, Musikot and some blankets are in the process of reaching the district administration office of Jajarkot the company said.

In this moment of crisis, if all parties can cooperate and forwarded effective steps, the company believes that it will provide significant support in the reconstruction of the earthquake-affected areas of West Nepal.
