Annual General Meeting of Shivam Cements held, 15% dividend resolution passed

Kathmandu : The eighth annual general meeting of Shivam Cements Limited has been completed. A proposal to distribute dividends to the shareholders at the rate of 15 percent from the accumulated profits up to 2023,023 has also been passed.

From the accumulated profit up to 2023.024 (the amount of share premium payment is retained in the company as usual) from the other accumulated amount, the paid-up capital to the shareholders is Rs.4 billion 400 million at the rate of 14.25%. 627 million worth of bonus shares and at the rate of 0.75 percent (for tax purposes)The company has informed through a statement that it has also passed a proposal to distribute dividends at a rate of 15 percent to its shareholders along with a cash dividend of 33 million.

At present, the authorized capital of the company is 7 billion and the issued and paid-up capital is Rs.4 billion 40 million after distribution of bonus shares at a rate of 14.25 percent, the company’s issued and paid-up capital will increase to 5 billion 27 million.

The 8th Annual General Meeting of Shivam Cements Limited was held today on 27.09.2024 at the National Hall, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Gaurav Goyal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
