Court allowed businessman Arun Chaudhary to be detained for 4 days
Kathmandu : The court has allowed businessman Arun Chaudhary, who was arrested on charges of misappropriation of government land, to be detained for 4 days.
A CIB officer said that the bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Ghimire of District Court, Kathmandu allowed him to be detained.
A team of the Bureau arrested Choudhary along with Ajitmansingh Thapa, executive head of the board of directors of the leather shoe factory, on Thursday, 1st of February, 2024 A.D. The police informed that he was also allowed to be detained for 4 days by the court.
Police also arrested CG Chandbagh’s chairman, Sanjay Thakur in the afternoon. Police are preparing to present him in court on 2nd of February, 2024 A.D, Friday.
