Insurance policy as a gift on ‘Valentine’s Day’

Kathmandu : Giving gifts to each other is not a new thing. However, with changing times, giving gifts to children is definitely a new practice instead of giving gifts to lovers on Valentine’s Day (Love Day). A couple from Palpa has become a new example of this!

The Ganga Karki Ranabhat couple living in Bandipokhara, Tansen Municipality Ward No. 11 of Palpa District have gifted their son Anmol Ranabhat a life insurance policy worth 500,000 on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.

 The Ranabhat couple said that the child future insurance plan was given as a gift in the name of their son in coordination with the Citizen Life Insurance Company, as exchanging gifts on Valentine’s Day will increase the harmony in the relationship.

14th February is celebrated worldwide as Valentine’s Day. On this day, loving couples give each other various gifts. Some people express their first love proposal on this occasion. Even when offering love, gifts are given.

On Valentine’s Day, every loving couple exchanges gifts with each other to strengthen each other’s relationship. Where love, harmony exchange has different importance in the relationship and helps to lead life. Love gives people new energy to live. Therefore, married couples openly celebrate this day by expressing their love for each other. Unmarried people also celebrate this day by exchanging tokens of love.

Bijay Karki, branch manager of Palpa branch, said that the Ranabhat couple bought an insurance policy as a gift for the golden future of their son whom they love the most on Valentine’s Day.
