Basis of insured and insurer’s suggestion, policy will prepare : Chairman Silwal
Kathmandu ; Chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority Surya Prasad Silwal has said that he is preparing to take suggestions regarding what should be done for the interests of the insured, insurers, etc. He mentioned that the authority prepares policy instructions based on the suggestions received from the insurers.
Insurance companies should follow the law and move forward in a reliable, accountable and transparent manner. Addressing the ‘New Year Greetings Exchange Program’, Chairman Silwal pointed out the need for each insurance company to set a destination and make policies, strategies and programs accordingly to reach the destination.
President Silwal said, “In order to advance the entire insurance industry, credibility should be maintained, emphasis should be placed on the sustainability of past achievements, cooperation should be made more effective, new technology should be widely adopted to reduce service costs and increase efficiency, deficiencies should not be repeated.
“Rajuraman Paudel, Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority, while expressing his welcome speech, said that the trust of the citizens can be won by speedy payment of insurance claims and quality service delivery and the scope of insurance will also expand.
Nepal Insurance Authority Director Sushil Dev Subedi and Director Pujan Dhungel Adhikari, President of Nepal Insurance Association and Nepal Life Insurance Association, Chief Executive Officers of various insurance companies and reinsurance companies expressed their greetings in the program. The program conducted by Dinesh Kumar Lal, Director of Nepal Insurance Authority.
The chief executive officers of the company, small insurance company and reinsurance companies representative was participated in the program.
