Nepal Life and Round Table Nepal Partner for Mount Everest Cleanup Initiative 2025

Kathmandu – Nepal Life Insurance and Round Table Nepal have signed an agreement to launch the Mount Everest Cleanup Initiative 2025, aimed at preserving the natural beauty of the world’s highest peak.

The agreement was signed today at Global College in Central Baneshwor, Kathmandu. Nepal Life Insurance CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli and Round Table Nepal President Pravesh Agrawal formalized the partnership in the presence of Deputy CEO Amit Kayal and other officials.

Under the initiative, plastic waste collected from Mount Everest will be transported to Kathmandu and other locations for recycling and repurposing. The profits generated from recycling the waste will be directed toward supporting various educational institutions.

CEO Parajuli expressed his satisfaction in contributing to the environmental protection of Everest, highlighting its significance as a major global tourist destination.

Round Table Nepal President Agrawal emphasized the broader impact of the initiative, stating that the funds generated from recycling will help strengthen the education sector.
