Nepal Life Insurance Launches Subsidiary Nepal Life Investment Company

Kathmandu – Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has officially inaugurated its subsidiary, Nepal Life Investment Company Limited, marking a significant step toward investment diversification in the insurance sector.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Thursday at the company’s central office on the third floor of City Center, Kamalpokhari. The subsidiary was jointly inaugurated by Govinda Lal Sanghai, Chairman of Nepal Life Insurance Company’s Board of Directors, and Sushil Dev Subedi, Executive Director of the Nepal Insurance Authority. The event was attended by senior executives, including Nepal Life CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli, Investment Company Chairman Amit Kumar Kayal, Deputy CEO Umapati Pokharel, agents, and other company personnel.
Nepal Life Investment Company Limited has been established as a public company with an authorized capital of Rs 5 billion and a paid-up capital of Rs 1.8 billion. The company will focus on channeling insurance funds into secure, high-yield investment areas, with a commitment to ensuring sustainable returns for both policyholders and shareholders.
Speaking on the occasion, company officials highlighted that the formation of the investment company represents a strategic step forward in utilizing insurance savings productively and efficiently.
