On Taking  Loan in the Name of the Dead Insurer and Using the Insurance Claim Payment

Kathmandu : On Taking  Loan in the Name of the Dead Insurer and Using the Insurance Claim Payment Amount, Branch Head of Swavalamban Microfinance Has been Suspended.

It has been found that Swavalamban Microfinance has taken a loan in the name of a died Insurer. Bhuvan Khatiwada, the assistant manager of the institution from the Kavrepalanchok branch of microfinance, has been found to have used the loan and insurance claim payment amount in the name of a died Insurer.He has also been fired by Microfinance because of his unethical work. Even the loan was waived by showing the death certificate and after taking the loan, the insurance claim was paid by making a false document saying that he had died, on the initiative of the branch head Khatiwada. It was found that in this way, the loan flow and claim amount was handled by him and used for himself.

According to the Organization, it was found that the employees working in the organization embezzled the money collected from the customer members without filing the full amount in the office and they were found to have committed corruption by placing the died people in a group illegally and granting loans in the name of the deceased and taking payment of insurance claims, which is why he was dismissed from his position.The deputy departmental manager and head of the human resources department of the organization Kalilkanth Paudel asked the assistant manager of the organization Bhuvan Khatiwada from the Kavrepalanchok branch to not perform any business transaction related to him and also he was dismissed with a warning of imprisonment.
