CEO of Nepal Bank ,Krishna Bahadur Adhikari is Completing his Duration on End of September , The Board is not Willing in Extending His Tenure

Kathmandu : Nepal Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Krishna Bahadur Adhikari is going to leave after his terms ends. The officer is going to leave the bank after his four-year tenure. The board is not in favor of repeating him this time. Sources say that he is not in favor of repeating his tenure due to various disputes. He was appointed as the CEO of Nepal Bank on (October 1, 2019 A.D) and is going to leave the bank on (October 1 , 2023 A.D).

The process of appointing a new CEO is already started by the board of directors of the bank. A three-member CEO selection committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Anand Kafle, a member of the bank’s board of directors. According to bank sources, the meeting of the board of directors to be held on 5th of October, will call for applications for the new CEO.
