From the Mid of October 2023,The Insurance Agent’s Examination will be Conducted by the Authority

Kathmandu: The Insurance Authority is going to conduct the examination of insurance agents from the mid of  October. The authority has given this information in a letter to all the life insurance companies on 30th of September,2023.

In the examination of insurance agents from mid of October 2023, the agent registration process will be closed in the IRAMS system from the date 2023-10-12.According to the Insurance Act, there is a provision that the insurance intermediary must have passed the prescribed examination before obtaining the license .

Accordingly, the insurance agent exam is about to be conducted. You can become an insurance agent only after passing the exam.
