Himalayan Life Insurance Provided Insurance Claim amount of 2.1 Million Rupees

Kathmandu : Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has paid the insurance claim amount. The Kalanki branch of the company has paid 2 million 162 thousand rupees for the claim.

In the presence of Kalanki branch head Hemant Tiwari, marketing executive Biswa Khanal, operating incharge Madhu Giri, MDRT’s pair Kashiram Dhakal and Ramkumar Adhikari and senior agency Resham Shrestha, the company has handed over the check to Bhawani Giri, the wife of the insured late Dr. Laxman Giri, for the claim amount due after the death of her husband.

Two years ago, Dr. Giri had purchased an insurance policy under AMB plan worth 2 million and equivalent from the Salyan branch of Same Union Life Insurance Company Limited. The insured’s wife, Bhawani Giri, said that the company paid the claim within 11 days of submitting all the documents to the company for Dr. Giri’s death claim.
