Himalayan Re Insurance has appointed Upasana Paudel as CEO

Kathmandu : The Himalayan Reinsurance Company promoted Upasana Poudel as it’s CEO. The Board of directors held a meeting and has appointed Paudel as the CEO.

Paudel has been working  as the Deputy CEO of Himalayan Reinsurance Company since November 13, 2022 A.D.

Paudel, who had worked in the non-life insurance sector for about four years has entered the reinsurance sector. She also had an experience of working as a CEO in United Insurance Company.

Paudel, who was appointed as the CEO of the company in Mid of April, 2021 A.D, resigned before the end of her term and became the deputy CEO of Himalayan Reinsurance.

Achieving the position of  CEO of United Insurance Company at the age of 35, her another achievement was becoming Deputy CEO of a Reputed Reinsurance company i.e. Himalayan Reinsurance Company. Now, she has been promoted as a CEO in the same company.

Paudel, who has accumulated more than a decade of work experience has completed her MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) from Delhi University, India.
