Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has provided help of 1 Million Rupees to earthquake victims
Kathmandu : Mahalaxmi Development Bank has provided financial assistance of 1 million Rupees to help the earthquake victims of Jajarkot, Rukum West and surrounding districts.
With the aim of providing relief and help for reconstruction as well as rescue, the bank has provided that money to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The earthquake that occurred on Jajarkot on 3rd November night caused huge loss of life in Jajarkot, Rukum West and surrounding districts.
Rajesh Upadhaya-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and Bodhraj Devkota-Chief Executive Officer handed over a cheque for the said amount to Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat.
The bank has expressed its condolences to the effected families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured while paying its heartfelt condolences to the citizens who lost their lives due to the earthquak.
