The Business of Insurance Companies Increased by 10 Percent, how much is the Contribution of Life and Non-Life Insurance?

Kathmandu : The total life insurance premium of life insurance companies has increased by 14 percent. According to the information published by the Nepal Insurance Authority up to the end of October, the total collection of life insurance premiums has increased by 14.05 percent.

There is no big difference in life insurance charges. Non-life insurance fee collection has increased by 3.58 percent.

Similarly, the total number of life insurance policies increased by 0.11 percent and the total number of non-life insurance policies increased by 0.73 percent. In the first three months of last financial year, there were 1 crore 38 lakh 83 thousand 256 total life insurance policies, this time it is 0.11 percent more i.e. 1 crore 38 lakh 67 thousand 581.

By the end of October of the last financial year, the number of non-life insurance policies was 6,89,468 and in this financial year, it is 6,84,436.

Similarly, there has been some increase in the number of insurance policies that come under the scope of long-term, short-term and foreign employment insurance as compared to the last financial year. In the first three months of the last financial year, the percentage of such population was 43.62 percent, while this year it was 43.42 percent.
