The 6th Social Security Day was Completed with Grandeur

Kathmandu : The 6th Social Security Day has been completed with grandeur. Chief Guest Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ inaugurated the program of the annual festival.

Addressing the program, Prime Minister Prachanda said that not only the people listed in the Social Security Fund, but also their families will be provided with the necessary service facilities. He said, “All the problems of the workers who are going to work abroad to apply to the social security fund will be solved as soon as possible.”

Expressing regret that the Social Security Fund has not been able to cover various contract employees, workers and foreign workers as intended, Prime Minister Prachanda promised that the government has prepared the necessary policies and procedures to solve the problems of low-income citizens and squatters of Nepal and promised to solve the squatter problem soon.In addition, the president of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chandra Dhakal said that social security funds should not be kept in fixed deposits in banks and should not be charged interest. He said, “It would be good if the government of Nepal invests the capital of social security fund in infrastructure and industrial development to create employment opportunities”.

Rajendra Malla, president of Nepal Udyog Parishanga, said that they are always cooperating for the social security fund. “It is necessary to invest the amount of social security fund in a good and reliable sector,” he said.

On the occasion of the annual celebration, Prime Minister Prachanda honored various local levels, health sector organizations and other private sectors with certificates for those who contributed to the social security fund in various fields.
