Two Days Insurance Institute Training Time has been Completed

Kathmandu : Insurance Institute Nepal (IIN) has completed a two-day ‘Advance Traning on Underwriting’ training on insurance in Madhesh province. The Institute completed the training on the 15-16th November at the initiative of Madhesh Province Insurance Authority office. The institute has conducted training in Makalu, Birganj, Parsa with the aim of enhancing the capacity of employees working in all life and non-life insurance companies within Madhesh province.

The training was inaugurated by Kushum Sharma, Head of Madhesh Province Office of Nepal Insurance Authority. On the first day of the life insurance underwriting training, Rajeev Gurwacharya, as a resource person, gave a presentation on medical underwriting and on the second day, Digvijay Singhal gave a presentation on financial underwriting in training.

A total of 44 people from various companies participated in the life insurance underwriting training.

On the first day, BK Maharjan gave a presentation on the subject of engineering insurance underwriting and on the second day, Sudyumna Prasad Upadhyay gave a presentation on the subject, property of insurance underwriting as a resource person for non-life insurance underwriting training.

42 people from all non-life insurance companies participated in the training. On the last day of the training, the institute said that feedback was received from the participants that the training was fruitful and that there is a need for more trainings in the coming day.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Kushum Sharma, Head of Madhesh Province Office of Nepal Insurance Authority, expressed the opinion of organizing various trainings to enhance the capacity of employees through IIN as per the need in the future and instructed the participants to carry out insurance business within the scope of the rules and announced that the program has ended.
