Claim payment by Citizen Life to the relatives of Deputy Mayor Singh who died in The recent Earthquake in Jajarkot

Kathmandu: Citizen Life Insurance Company has paid the insurance claim amount to the family of Sarita Singh, Deputy Chief of Nalgad Municipality, who died in Jajarkot Earthquake. Jajarkot branch of the company paid the insurance claim amount on Wednesday, 6th December, 2023 A.D.

Citizen Life, Jajarkot Branch has paid Rs Five hundred fourty thousand(540,000) Rupees insurance claim amount to the family of Deputy Mayor Singh who died in the earthquake that occurred near Ramidada in Jajarkot on 13th November, 2023 A.D.

During an event, Karnali Province Head-Murali Bhandari, Jajarkot Branch Head-Bahadur Budaa and Karnali Province Internal Affairs and Law Minister – Krishna G.C handed over a cheque of worth Rs.540 Thousand to Tara Kumari Shahi, sister of the insured.

Similarly, Padam Sodari, Head of Karnali Province of Nepal Insurance Authority, said that it is necessary to extend the reach of insurance to remote settlements and for this, he has initiated various programs.

Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of Karnali Province-Krishna G.C, Mayor of Nalgad Municipality-Dumbar Rawat, Nepal Insurance Authority Karnali Province Chief-Padam Sodari, Ward Chairman of Nalgad Municipality 4-Badri Pant and others participated in the program.
