Insurance agents in final preparations to meet MDRT target, in a rush with only 11 days left
Kathmandu : Mahakumbh Mela of Insurance Agents is in the final preparations to achieve the target of MDRT. Every year insurance agents have a dream to at least become an MDRT. In order to realize that dream, the actor is being tormented by the December storm like the mid-June storm.
MDRT is an international platform for insurance agents involved in the life insurance profession and is a means of personality development, capacity development and encouragement. That’s why many insurance agents are under pressure and stress to make MDRT 2023.
Within the year 2023, the insurance agents who earn the prescribed insurance fee (except single) will be allowed to become MDRT, COT and TOT.
You can apply to MDRT only if you are successful in collecting the prescribed first insurance fee from January 1st to December 30th of every year and after the permission of your affiliated insurance company.
MDRT, COT and TOT targets are not much left to fulfill this year’s dream. Today, only December 31 is counted this year. So only 11 days are left from today. More than 100,000 active agents working in life insurance companies are racing to achieve the target of MDRT.
With four days left to achieve the MDRT target of this year, more than 50,000 active agents working in 14 life insurance companies operating in Nepal are under pressure to achieve the MDRT target.
As the deadline has come and December 30th Saturday and 31st Saturday, Tamu Lhosar has fallen, two public holidays have fallen. Therefore, this year’s MDRTs will have to cut the insurance policy on December 29, i.e. Friday.
On the other hand, those who have already achieved the goal of MDRT and have secured it, are also seen in the race to become MDRT from January 1, 2024 by gathering new businesses.

Besides, thousands of agencies and agents have already qualified in MDRT, hundreds of COT and TOT. But its recognition is only for one year. Actors who have yet to reach the target and some who have not reached it are running for the target with very hard work.

Agents who collect 12,000 rupees will be allowed to participate in the conference. The conference named Million Dollar Round Table or MDRT is held in different countries every year.

Those who meet the MDRT target in 2023 will qualify for MDRT 24. In order to be qualified in MDRT, there is a provision to collect insurance fee of 41 lakh 71 thousand rupees.
