Insurance Authority making important decisions without the representative of the Ministry of Finance

Kathmandu: The Nepal Insurance Authority has prepared to take important decisions without the official representative of the Ministry of Finance. Bhupal Baral is the director appointed by the Ministry of Finance for the authority. Now Baral is resting at home after taking sick leave. Two important meetings are going to be held on 21st of December without the representatives of the Ministry of Finance.

A meeting of the board of directors of Nepal Insurance Authority has been called on 17th of December. Preparations have been made to make an important decision from that meeting of the board of directors. When inquired about it, one of the directors said that the meeting was held but he was not aware of the proposal. On the other hand, when contacting the Ministry of Finance, it was learned that the director appointed for the insurance authority, Baral, is sick.
