Provided Insurance Claims by Himalayan Life’s Urlabari branch of nearly worth 1 Million Rupees

Kathmandu : Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has provided the insurance claim amount. The company’s Urlabari branch paid the claim to the family of the insured late Gomaya Tamang, a resident of Urlabari-4, on Friday, 22nd of December, 2023 A.D.

The late insured had taken 500 thousand Rupees of insurance and 500 thousand Rupees of terminal illness benefit from the company 3 years ago. She had taken insurance from former Gurans Life Insurance Company Urlabari branch which has been merged as Himalayan Life Insurance Limited now.

During a program organized at the company’s Urlabari branch office where chairman of ward-4, Urlabari Kalyan Kumar Rai was present as the chief guest and as the public representative, the branch head Bharat Thapa informed that the company handed over a cheque of 993 thousand 909 rupees collectively for life insurance and for terminal illness to the late insured’s husband Bhim Bahadur Tamang. The Branch head Bharat Thapa also informed that the amount included the life insurance claim amount of 518 thousand rupees and 475 thousand Rupees of the claim amount of terminal illness after tax deduction.

Agency Manager Balkumar Gurung, Tej Bahadur Karki, Badri Basnet, employees Rita Paudel, Sagar Thapa and others relatives of late insured were present in the event.
