Special session of Professional Insurance Agent Association Nepal Life starts from 6th January

Kathmandu : The special session of Professional Insurance Agent Association Insurance Committee of Nepal Life Insurance Company will start from 6th of January. The special session of the association will be held on January 6 and 7. The convention of the association will be held at the National Hall located on Exhibition Road Bhrikutimandap.

For this, the conference organizing committee has requested all the agents to look at the information officially issued regularly. In order to operate the organization in a transparent manner according to the rules and methods, the organizers have requested everyone to participate in the special session of Insurance Committee Nepal Life and make the program a grand and decent success.

Professional Insurance Agents Association of Nepal issued a press release and requested everyone to participate in the voting process according to the democratic method. In Nepal Life, the old working committee of the association has been accused of weakening the organization. Thus, after the situation of confrontation between the two parties, the Professional Insurance Agent Association has requested to move forward together.

The association said that “Professional Insurance Agents Association Nepal is a national level organization formed under the Trade Union Act to make all insurance agents disciplined and conscientious in the insurance business. This organization is trying to maintain unity and understanding among the common agents for the economic and social development of the laboring agents. For the sake of the paramount interest of the insured, it is the need of the day to secure the service facilities that the agents have provided in the past and to struggle for more rights.”

The association said that it is constantly trying to establish this service profession in the society through harmonious relations and harmony between all concerned in the insurance sector. The Association has alleged that some people have been destabilizing the organization in the Insurance Committee Nepal Life by holding dual responsibilities in the Central Committee and the Insurance Committee contrary to the law for a long time, saying that the labor and sweat of many have been spent in building the history of the association. In addition to this, the current working committee has mentioned that the matter of embezzlement by extreme misuse of funds of the agent welfare fund is still in the stage of investigation.

The association alleges that some people are busy trying to divert the subject to cover up their past weaknesses to see weather they can escape from their mistakes. The union has warned that the agents are working to weaken the organization by using the letter pad and seal of the association without authorization with the intention of depriving them of the services. Association also said that they have received issues of agents doing irresponsible activities in the name of meetings and training provided by association which is seen as a scam activities.
