Decision on not distributing the dividend by Neco Insurance; Calls for Annual General Meeting

Kathmandu: Neco Insurance Company has announced the date of annual general meeting on 26th of January, 2024 A.D. The company called the annual general meeting without distributing the dividend this year. The 28th Annual General Meeting of the company will start at 11 am at Lisara Reception Naxal, Kathmandu.

It is mentioned in the notice published on 3rd of January, 2024 A.D that Neco Insurance has decided not to distribute dividends to investors from the profits of the last fiscal year and called the Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting will pass the annual financial statement for the fiscal year 2079/80 B.S (2023 A.D). Likewise, there is another agenda for appointing an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81 B.S (2024 A.D) and determining it’s remuneration.

The annual general meeting will elect a total of 5 directors including 1 woman from the founding group and 3 from the general public. The company has decided to close the book on 16th of January for the purposes of the general meeting. Only the shareholders who remain until 14th of January will be allowed to participate in the meeting.
