The insurance regulations are in the final stage, the rats have not eaten them : Kapil Oli
Kathmandu: Kapil Dev Oli, the director of Nepal Insurance Authority, has informed that the Insurance Regulation 2023 B.S has reached its final stage and also informed that the rats have not eaten them.
He informed in the special session of Nepal Life Insurance that after discussions with the authority the Regulation has reached the final stage from the Ministry of Law and gone to the Ministry of Finance for further discussion.
He also said in the program that some new and upgraded insurance regulations are coming.
He gave this information while addressing the special session of Professional Insurance Agent Association Nepal Insurance Committee Nepal Life Insurance on 6th of January, 2023 A.D.
He openly praised the insurance agents in the program saying that they did not allow crisis in the insurance business during the economic recession. He also expressed his sorrow in the program about the problems that have started to appear among the insurance agents due to some provisions brought by the authority.
In the event, he openly praised the insurance agents who are working as the main backbone of bringing in 90 percent of the insurance business in the insurance companies.
