IGI Prudential’s Net Insurance Fee Increased by 97 Percent
Kathmandu : IGI Prudential Insurance Company has published the financial statement for the second quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the details, the company’s net insurance fee earning has increased by 97 percent.
Until, the second quarter of the current fiscal year, the net insurance fee earnings of the company is 512.3 million Rupees. During the same period of the last fiscal year, such amount of the company was 259.3 million Rupees.
The company has earned a net profit of 183.7 million Rupees till the second quarter of the current fiscal year. During the same period of last fiscal year, the profit of the company was 121.6 million Rupees.
Similarly, up to the second quarter of the current fiscal year, this company, which has a paid-up capital of 3.02 billion Rupees, has 67.3 million Rupees in its disaster fund. On the other hand, there is 88.1 million Rupees in the reserve fund.
Similarly, the company’s total insurance fee earning is 1 billion 278.3 million Rupees. During the same period of last fiscal year, the company’s earnings was Rs 723.7 million Rupees. It is seen that the company’s insurance fee income has increased by 76 percent.
During the review period, the company has spent 29.6 million Rupees on agent commission whereas last fiscal year, such expenditure of the company was 464.3 million Rupees.
Similarly, the earnings per share of the company is Rs.12.13 and the net worth per share is Rs.167.55.
